These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Taxi QR Code Pickup website and platform. By accessing or using the platform, creating an account, scanning a QR code, submitting a pickup request, joining a loyalty program, or managing a taxi business account, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the platform
Taxi QR Code Pickup provides QR-code-based tools for participating taxi businesses, including pickup points, customer cards or fridge magnets, vehicle QR codes, dispatch, loyalty, usage tracking, billing and reporting. The platform is not a taxi operator unless expressly stated; transport services are provided by the participating taxi business.
2. Participating taxi businesses
Taxi businesses are responsible for accurate business details, drivers, vehicles, dispatch, service quality, request statuses, and compliance with applicable transport, consumer, privacy and business laws.
3. Passengers and customers
Submitting a pickup request does not guarantee availability, dispatch, acceptance, arrival time or ride completion.
4. Not for emergencies
This platform is not an emergency service. In Australia, call 000 in an emergency.
5. QR codes and requests
The platform may record scans, requests, registrations, vehicle confirmations, loyalty activity and status changes. A scan or request is not proof that a ride was completed.
6. Request status
Businesses are responsible for correctly marking requests new, acknowledged, completed, no-show, cancelled, duplicate or spam. Billing may depend on that status and the Billing Terms.
7. Vehicle QR and loyalty
Where enabled, customers may confirm rides and earn business-specific points or rewards. Points have no cash value unless expressly stated. Duplicate, automated, staff or abusive scans may be rejected or reversed.
8. Accounts and security
Users must secure their login details. Access may be restricted for misuse, fraud, security risk, non-payment or breach.
9. Business content
Businesses must ensure uploaded branding and content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe third-party rights.
10. Fees and billing
Fees may include monthly or annual access, qualified scan, customer card, vehicle loyalty, completed request, exclusivity, territory and adjustment charges. See the Billing Terms.
11. Rate changes
At least 7 days written notice will be provided before a rate increase takes effect. Effective-dated scan and completion rates apply on the relevant event date.
12. Territory exclusivity
Exclusive arrangements may restrict activation or request acceptance in an agreed territory and may require a separate written agreement.
13. Acceptable use
Users must not submit fraudulent requests, misuse QR codes, evade billing, attack the service, upload malicious files, access another business data, or act unlawfully.
14. Availability and third parties
Uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Hosting, email, SMS, maps, payments, bot protection and other third-party services have their own availability and terms.
15. Data and privacy
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Taxi businesses also have privacy obligations for information they receive.
16. Intellectual property
The platform, code, design, branding and documentation are owned by or licensed to Taxi QR Code Pickup, excluding business and third-party content.
17. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
18. Suspension, termination and changes
Access may be suspended for unpaid fees, misuse, security risk, legal requirements, breach or inactivity. Updated Terms apply from their effective date.
